The other day I went to Greenwich (pronounced as ɡrɛnɪdʒ)! It is a borough in south east London, it feels like a tiny village and it is a bit far from the central but definitely worth a visit. There is a huge park with a hill, and from the top of the hill you can see London’s skyline with Hoxton and Shoreditch to the left and Canary Wharf to the right.
In the middle of the park it is a house called Queen’s House, it is the very first house in England with an Italian design and architecture! Inside there a lot of paintings of royalties, it is also free entry!
There is also a market where you can find clothes, food and craft work! They have nice and fresh juice as well!
Greenwich is by the Thames so a lot of tourists go here by boat from Westminster Pier, by that route you get to see a lot of London.
If you do not want to take boat to Greenwich you can take the DLR to Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich or bus 188 towards North Greenwich! Greenwich is such a nice place just to chill or have picnic at and it is perfect now when spring and summer finally is approaching!
